Alternative learning in Colleges
Your local Further Education Colleges are also Training Providers. This means that they provide tutors and learning resources for apprenticeships and other kinds of work-based learning like traineeships and continuing professional development. They also provide engagement programmes to support people to access work or learning, often in partnership with independent training providers. This allows them to offer flexible opportunities that support everyone to stay in learning.
Crucial: You don't have to be attending a college to ask them about what training opportunities they can offer; you can also call up if you're at another learning provider (like a school) or Not in Education, Employment or Training.
