Calling young designers in Cherwell District, get creative and you could win £50!

Brand new Apprenticeship Training Agency (ATA) - The Apprenticeship & Training Company Ltd – needs a logo and is looking to creative young people aged 14-23 in the Cherwell District Council area for help!

The ATA has been set up on behalf of Cherwell District Council with funding granted to it by Oxfordshire Local Enterprise Partnership (OxLEP) and is offering a £50 Amazon voucher to the designer of the winning logo.

If you’re interested in design, this is a fantastic and rare opportunity to add 'design of a logo for a new company' to your portfolio! The new logo will be used on all their materials – from business cards to workwear – as well as on their website and social media. This is an amazing opportunity for you to learn all about company branding and identity.

What are the guidelines?

Your logo needs to be simple, clear and easily reproduced online, in print and on products. It needs to look just as good large on a banner as small on a letter head. It doesn’t need to be professionally drawn using technical software as that can be done later – it’s more about the ideas behind your design.

For some ideas and detail about colours, fonts etc, please see the company logo competition design brief.

How do I enter?

Please provide the following:

  • A letter introducing you and explaining the inspiration behind your work
  • Your contact details
  • A digital copy of the logo(s) you are submitting

For an informal discussion, you can call Paddy Patterson on 07455 007293 or email info@apprenticeshiptrainingcompany.org.uk

Closing date: 5pm on Wednesday 1st June 2016 Interviews: 3 logos will be shortlisted and their designers invited for an informal discussion about their work by the end of June 2016
