Oxfordshire County Council has come up with some options of how stop smoking services could look from April 2018 and they want to know which service you think is the best!

Are you a current smoker, recent quitter, resident or a professional? Oxfordshire County Council wants to know your views on how Stop Smoking Services should be provided in the future.

Overall, smoking rates in Oxfordshire are lower than the average. However, smoking still is the most preventable cause of disease and death in the UK and this is why Oxfordshire County Council wants you to take action to help people quit smoking for good.

The Smoking Consultation was created as Oxfordshire County Council wants to know your opinions on how Stop Smoking Services can be more beneficial for the future. Over the past few years, evidence shows that fewer people are going to their local GP and Pharmacies to gain support. Instead, most smokers prefer going to stop smoking advisors in community settings.

Taking this evidence on board, Oxfordshire County Council has come up with six options for you to choose from. To see what you think might be the best way to move forward to improve Stop Smoking Services from 31st March 2018.

Take a look at the options today and have your say!
