9 May 2016
Botley Parish Council are considering providing a skate park, adventure play equipment and a youth club for over 13s. Will 2016 be the year Botley gets permission for a skate park?

Live in Botley? Aged 10-18 years?

If so, please go along to the Parish Council youth forum event on Sunday 15th May, 4-5pm at Seacourt Hall (opposite Co-op).

The council wants to know which facilities you would like most. It also wants you to help design them!

If you're not available on 15th May but want a skate park, please email the Chair of the Recreation and Amenities Committee cllr.caroline.potter@gmail.com to let her know and please copy in botleyskatepark@gmail.com

It's been needed for a long time!

In 2009 the Botley Skate Bowl was vandalised beyond repair. North Hinksey Parish Council received insurance of £12,604 which has been in their bank account ever since.

The Campaign for Botley Skate Park has been working towards new facilities for young people since then!

Who's running the campaign?

Campaign for Botley Skate Park is a group of parents, young people and other residents working to get a new facility built for children and young people to ride their bikes, skateboards, and scooters safely.
