*Compass Project - Witney & Oxford
The Compass Project adopts a “learning by doing” approach to help people with disabilities to work. This opportunity provides supported learning suitable for young people with learning difficulties or disabilities (SEN). You would help to operate a number of small enterprises including catering deliveries, office paper recycling, printing services and gift making. You would be supported by staff to try their hand at different jobs and discover what suits your abilities and needs. The goal is to get individuals managing independently in their chosen area and the confidence to progress, where appropriate, to the next level.
No qualifications required. For those not yet ready for work.
The individual structured training is designed to be friendly, to go at whatever pace suits the individual, and to help build social skills and confidence.
Costs £30 per session and includes lunch. This programme is aimed at 18 plus years
