The Gateway Centres at Abingdon & Witney College are very supportive spaces. We listen to what you’ve got to say, find out what you want out of life and then help you work out a route to get there.

Flexible and designed totally for you, you can start and finish them whenever suits you, get in touch at any time and enter the programme at any level. Personalised learning programmes keep the focus on you.

Whether you want to try work, improve Functional Skills, take GCSEs, or need a boost in confidence, Gateway can help.

Gateway programmes for young people aged 16-18  who are not employed, in education or training, who have missed school due to illness, phobias, caring responsibilities, who have special educational needs and/or disability or or who have not found their direction since leaving school. 

Qualifications: 

No formal qualifications

Training: 

Coaching, mentoring, confidence & team building, volunteering & work experience, GCSE's, tutorial/personal & social development, functional skills, vocational taster placements, trips, activities. Functional skills.
