Volunteers for Healthwatch Oxfordshire
Healthwatch Oxfordshire is all about enabling local voices to influence the delivery and design of local health and social care in our county. Not just for the people who use them now, but for anyone who might need to in future.
We particularly need volunteers to support our outreach programme. Outreach volunteers help us to set up our information stall and speak to members of the public about their experiences at local events. All you need is to be good at listening, friendly and interested in people’s experiences.
Volunteers are invited to participate in a one-day induction training day. For each project, volunteers are given additional training so that they have a full understanding of what the project involves and what we want to find out.
Volunteers are asked to apply in writing, and are then interviewed and undergo a Disclosure Barring Service check.
