What can the service help with?

The Targeted Youth Support Service work with the young person to help them make choices that will have a positive effect on your life going forward.

Here are some of the ways our service has helped local young people, what they had to say about the support received:

• Help for where there are lots of questions or complexities: "Thank you that you are listening and trying very hard to help us, try to find solutions or give advice to our many many many questions."

• The TYSS can help a child find more positive interests: "TYSS worked with the young person to find some potential interests and made arrangements to attend local football sessions. TYSS also supported them to get a library card to access cookery books to support their college course."
• Working in a group has real benefits: ‘We, enjoyed being in the group together and looked forward to it each week.’
