This year’s National Apprenticeship Week has started, and is running from the 5th – 9th March 2018. This year’s theme, ‘Apprenticeships Work’, is an opportunity to celebrate how apprenticeships are great not only for the employers and individuals involved, but also for developing local communities and the whole economy.
National Apprenticeship Week is now in its 11th year, and aims to encourage more young people than ever to join apprenticeships by sharing stories and promoting the work of apprentices. This year, over 150 schools are joining 10kTalks – a project that aims to tell ten thousand students how apprenticeships can be the kick-start to a career – and hundreds more employers and apprentices are being asked to share their #WorksForMe stories with a simple social media post.
So get inspired, and visit the NAW2018 website for more ideas on how to celebrate and support apprenticeships in your local area.
