Exam season is almost here, so now is the perfect time to get prepared

Exam season can be an anxious and stressful time for many young people, but being prepared, staying connected, and taking extra care of yourself can help.

Being prepared:

Taking steps to be prepared is a great way to make you feel ready for exams, and reduce feelings of worry or stress. Here are some of our tips to help you with your studies:

  • Create a revision schedule
  • Take regular study breaks
  • Find a quiet place to study - local libraries are a great place to do this

Some schools also run revision sessions during holidays and after school, this can be a good way to get support with your studies.

Important: Feeling anxious about exams is normal and you are not alone. Talking to loved ones, taking time out, and focusing on your mental wellbeing can help.

Staying motivated:

It can be easy to lose motivation when preparing for and taking exams. But here are some tips to help you stay motivated:

  • Make plans with friends during your study breaks
  • Have something fun to look forward to after your exams
  • Draw us a study plan so you know what you're doing when

Many people also find having lists or apps where you can cross off revision tasks when they are completed is motivating.

Mental wellbeing:
