Description

As a laboratory support worker, you will be required to input patient information onto the Laboratory computer system so a good understanding of English and keyboard skills are essential.

The role would require you to provide an efficient and effective service within the Microbiology Laboratory, involving sample receipt, data entry and sample processing in accordance with Departmental SOPs and Trust policies and procedures.

Successful applicants will also be required to undertake other laboratory duties as described in the job description which also includes the working with laboratory automation and equipment, autoclaves and centrifuges, as well as making up solutions and managing stock.
