Holiday Activity and Food Programme

The Holiday Activity and Food Programme is back for summer 2023!

The programme provides organised holiday activities and a meal each day for children who have started Reception - Year 11, who are eligible for benefits-related free school meals.

Sun Safety

When the weather is warm it can be tempering to spend more time outdoors and enjoy enjoy the nice. But if you are doing this, it's important you know how to keep yourself sun safe

  • Try to avoid the sun between 11am-3pm 
  • Stay hydrated

Preparing for festivals

Festival season is very popular and can be a great way to have fun with friends and enjoy music. If you are attending any festivals this summer knowing how to enjoy them safely is important. 

  • Follow all safety guidelines during the event
  • Check-in with the people you're with to make sure everybody is ok
  • Make sure you know where to find help 
  • Have a meeting point in case you get lost or lose your friends
