Oxfordshire County Council and Bite Back are looking for 10-15 young people to become Community Food Champions!

Develop teamwork and communication skills for your CV, and make a positive impact on the food you and your friends, family and community can eat every day.

About the workshop

The two-day workshop will take place in central Oxford from 29th - 30th October(10am-4pm), and is open to young people aged 16-18. 

During the workshop you will:

  • Discover: Learn about the food system
  • Share: Share your views on how you think things could be better for young people
  • Collect: Hit the streets and collect evidence of junk food advertising

Your views and evidence will form a report that goes to decision makers in your area, you can help bring about change!

What will I gain?

By becoming a Community Food Champion and taking part in the workshop you will develop your skills and experience, including:

  • Problem solving
  • Communication
