T-Level choices

T-Levels are one of the post-16 options for young people who have finished their GCSE's
Apprentice and manager at work. They are both wearing safety goggles.

T-Levels (also known as Technical Levels) are completed after GCSEs and are equivalent to 3 A-Levels. They are designed to support students who feel ready for work.

How do T-Levels work?

T-Levels involve a mixture of classroom learning and ‘on-the-job’ experience. You will spend some of your time in the classroom, and some at a real relevant industry placement.

What subjects can I do T-Levels in?

There are lots of subjects that you can take T-Levels in, including:

  • Education and Childcare
  • Health and Science
  • Legal, Finance, and Accounting

Good to know: If you need, you will be supported to gain qualifications in Maths and English if didn't get a grade 4 or above at GCSE.

After T-Levels

Your T-Levels complete your compulsory years of education. But you can still continue studies. You can get an apprenticeship or go to university.
