Results Day is an exciting time. But it can also be stressful. Being prepared and knowing what to expect on the day can help.

Being prepared:

Help yourself by being prepared and knowing what to expect. 

  1. Know how and when you are getting your results
  2. Know who you are collecting results with
  3. Know who you can talk to about your results if they are a surprise

Your school, college, or place of learning should have support ready if you need it. 

Take action: If your next step is an apprenticeship you can sign up to get weekly emails of local apprenticeships and other opportunities. 

Staying calm on the day

There are lots of simple ways to help keep you calm on the day, including:

It can also be helpful to take time to reconnect with people getting results at the same time as you. 

Take action: Taking 'me-time' and doing things that you enjoy is also a great way to boost your mood and support your well-being.
