Simple steps to help you support your mental wellbeing and places where you can access support

Taking care of our mental wellbeing is always important. 

There are lots of simple steps we can all take to achieve this, and support to help us along the way.

Good to know: Oxfordshire CAMHS also have lots of information and good advice, including different ways you can look after yourself

People you can talk to 

A good place to start is by talking to somebody you trust. This could be a friend, parent or carer, somebody at your place of learning, or a leader at a club you attend. 

You can also talk to your school health nurse or doctor (GP).

Support from Tellmi

Tellmi is a free mental wellbeing support app for children and young people. 

It is a safe, anonymous app where you can talk about anything. 

Moderators check everything to keep you safe and their in-house counsellors are always on hand if you need extra support.

5 Ways to Wellbeing 

The 5 Ways to Wellbeing are 5 simple steps to help improve mental health and wellbeing. Following these steps can help us to feel more positive get the most out of life.

  4. Give to others
  5. Pay attention to the present moment
