The Targeted Youth Support Service (TYSS) works with young people aged 11-18 who may be experiencing harm outside the home.

They support you in making positive choices, enable you to cope with difficulties, have increased aspirations and be more resilient to harm.

Working with you they help you meet your social and emotional needs and move forward with your life.

Ask for help: Supporting adults and professionals can request a referral form online.

Who is the service for?

This service is for young people aged 11-18 but can also support those aged up to 25 with an EHCP or have been part of Children We Care For.

If TYSS is not the right service, we can help you to find the right one and get support.

Got any questions? If you have any questions you can contact the Targeted Youth Support Service directly via email tyss@oxfordshire.gov.uk

Access the Service

If you think the service will help a young person in your care, you must have their consent to contact us.

If you are a professional you can request support from the service.

If the young person is aged 13+ you do not need consent from a parent/guardian, but the service will let them know.

It's in their control: Involvement with Targeted Youth Support Service is voluntary.

Meeting your youth worker

If it is agreed that the service is right for your young person, a youth worker will arrange when and where to meet and work together to make a plan for future sessions.
