The Oxfordshire Science and Ideas Festival (IF) Poetry of Science competition is open for 2025

IF Oxford are inviting young poets aged 5-16 to showcase their talent in this year's Poetry of Science competition.
The competition is an opportunity for you to express your creativity and have fun.
There will be a winner selected in each age category, with the winners and runners-up also being published on the IF website and being invitied to perform at a special IF Oxford celebratory event
How to enter:
This year there are three age categories:
- Under 7's
- 8-11 year olds
- 12-16 year olds
To enter all you have to do is write a short poem on any scientific topic, using any poetry style and submit your poem through this online form.
Your entries must be submitted before Friday 2 May 2025.
