Next steps and wellbeing

We understand that thinking about next steps can be an exciting and stressful time. But exploring your options, talking to people you trust, and being prepared can all help.
Being prepared:
Help yourself by being prepared and knowing what you can do
- Explore your options early - find which learning style suits you
- Ask for support if you're not sure about your options
- Attend open events to familarise with the learning environment
Crucial: You can always talk to teacher or trusted adult at your place of learning.
Practicing self-care
Taking care of our wellbeing is always important, but especially during busy or stressful times.
Taking simple steps each day can help:
- Stay as active as you can
- Get the right amount of sleep
- Stay connected with others
Take action: Taking 'me-time' and doing things that you enjoy is also a great way to boost your mood and support your well-being.
Reaching out for support
Sometimes self-care isn't enough and we need extra support. You can access support from your School Health Nurse or GP or online.
