Free period products available at your local library, to help achieve period equality for all

Oxfordshire County Council is providing free period products for anyone who needs them in 18 public libraries across Oxfordshire, as part of a trial to help achieve period equality for all.

Everyone deserves the essentials they need and having access to period products is important for people’s mental and physical health, wellbeing and future.

Take action: find your nearest location and more information.

Where can I access products?

The libraries stocking products are: Abingdon, Banbury, Barton, Bicester, Blackbird Leys, Botley, Cowley, Didcot, Headington, Henley, Kidlington, Littlemore, Oxford Westgate, Summertown, Thame, Wantage, Witney, Woodgreen.

Posters within libraries will specify where to find the products so people can help themselves, without needing to ask anyone. Library staff are also on hand to provide advice about the products if anyone needs help.

People are welcome to take what they need for themselves, their friends and family.
