Out of learning or training? Support is available
This week, children and young people across Oxfordshire are returning to learning.
All young people should be in education, employment or training until age 18. But sometimes plans change, or problems get in the way.
If you're aged 16-17 and not currently in education or training, now is the time to take action.
Request support: You can let us know that you are not in education, employment or training (NEET), and request support by completing this short from.
Other things you can do:
If you are out of learning or training, there are things you can do, these include:
- Doing an apprenticeship
- Signing up to our weekly bulletins
- Applying for local courses or personal development programmes
You could also take part in volunteering or community work to keep you busy, learn new skills, and support your mental wellbeing.
Search for opportunities: You can find lots of local learning opportunities listed here on oxme.
