Applications are now open for the BFI Film Academy 2025-26 at Film Oxford

Film Oxford are looking for 16 young creatives to be a part of the BFI Film Academy.
The is a free young open to young people aged 16-19 (up to 25 with an EHCP).
Apply online: If you are interested in taking part, you can apply online before 1st October 2025 at 5pm.
About the course
As a student of the Film Academy you will have the opportunity to:
- Make a short film - including planning, shooting, and editing
- Meet and learn from industry professional
- Gain support with your career progression.
Course dates:
Before you apply, please make sure your can attend all of the course dates listed below:
- Saturday 18th October 11am-4pm
- Sunday 19th October (London trip)
- October half-term 10am-5pm
- Saturday 8th November 11am-4pm
You will also be invited to a screening event on 18th January.
