All young people should be in learning or training until age 18. This includes options like apprenticeships, sixth form, and college.
If things haven't worked out, or if problems are getting in the way of learning - support is available.
Let us know: You can let us know that you are not in education, employment or training, and request support with finding a learning destination that works for you.
What you can do
Most young people are already in learning. But if your plans have changed there are things you can do:
- Contact your local FE college to discuss your options
- Start an apprenticeship - there are lots available!
- Sign up to our weekly bulletins
- Apply for local courses or personal development programmes
- Take part in some volunteering or community work - a great way to boost your CV!
You can also find lots of local learning opportunities listed here on oxme.
Good to know: At this time of year there are lots of open events, careers fairs, and more where you can explore your options, talk with training providers and employers, and get back on track.
