Thank you for contacting the Oxfordshire Targeted Youth Support Service (TYSS).
Your form has been sent to a Senior Youth Worker.
They will be in touch to provide more information, ask any questions and make an offer of support, if this is the best approach for you.
Next Steps
Referrals are reviewed weekly by the Youth Gateway group. They make sure:
- The support you are getting is right for you
- You are not having to go over the same things with different services
- Any problems you are having getting the right support is sorted out
A TYSS worker will then contact you (and your parent/carer or supporting adult, if appropriate) to talk about the referral.
If another service is better for you, we will signpost you to it.
If our service is right for you we will start with an assessment tool called a ‘Teen Star’ or a ‘My Mind Star’ to understand your needs and what is best for you.
Consent
The TYSS works with young people with their consent.
Withdrawal of consent can be made at any time by emailing tyss@oxfordshire.gov.uk or speaking to a TYSS worker.
