two happy young people reading exam results together

We understand that collecting exam results can be an anxious and stressful time. But being prepared, knowing what to expect, and having a plan in place can all help.

Crucial: Most young people already know how and when they are collecting their results, but if you are not sure, you should ask at your place of learning.

Results Day Hub

Our Results Day hub is a dedicated online space where young people can:

  • Access information and tips on getting results day ready
  • Learn about what support is on offer and who they can talk to
  • Find links to mental wellbeing support, including Tellmi

Good to know: Some local colleges, including Abingdon and Witney College, are running GCSE drop-ins sessions where you can talk to careers advisers, explore your options, an enroll on courses.

National Careers Service

You can also access advice and support with exam results from the National Careers Service.

They have lots of information around post 16 and 18 learning options, what to do if results are unexpected, and support on next steps.

Support is available during opening times via their webchat and via phone: 0800 100 900.
