We'd like to wish everyone sitting exams this summer the very best of luck.

Exam season can feel stressful or overwhelming at times, but being prepared, staying connected and taking care of your wellbeing can really help. To support you, we've put together some simple tips and reminders to help you feel more confident and in control.

Being prepared:

Feeling prepared can help reduce worry and make exam time feel more manageable. Simple tips like these can help:

  • Create a revision schedule
  • Take regular study breaks
  • Find a quiet place to study - libraries can be a great option
  • Ask at your place of learning if they offer revision sessions

Important: Feeling anxious about exams is normal and you are not alone. Taking time out, and focusing on your mental wellbeing can help.

Staying motivated:

It's normal for motivation to dip during exam season, but following these tips can help:

  • Make plans with friends during your study breaks
  • Give yourself something to look forward to after your exam
  • Draw up a study plan so you know what you're doing when

It can also be helpful to have a list of exams and revision tasks so you can cross them off as you complete them.

Looking after your mental wellbeing

Taking care of your mental wellbeing is always important - especially during exams. Following simple steps like these can help:

  • Stay as active as you can
  • Make sure you get the right amount of sleep
  • Stay connected with others and have fun plans to look forward to

Tellmi are also here to support you this exam season. They have information, resources, and give a space to talk about what's on your mind. They even have a downloadable revision timetable you can use!
