Having your say on local matters as a young person is a great way to make your voice heard and have a positive impact on your community. And there are lots of ways to get involved!
Ways to have your say
Young people in Oxfordshire have lots of opportunities to have their say, including:
- Taking part in local consultations via Let's Talk Oxfordshire
- Sharing your thoughts on Healthwatch Oxford
- Joining local school or college committees - not one at your place of learning? Ask if you can start one!

Forums and groups
Specific groups of young people can also have their say:
- Youth Voice is open to any child or young person in care, leaving care, or with a social worker
- The SEND Youth Forum is open to anyone aged 16+ with special educational needs or a disability
- YiPpEe is open to ages 11–19 who have recently been hospital patients, or who are siblings of someone who has
