This year National Apprenticeship Week takes place from 9th-15th February with the theme 'Skills for Life'.

National Apprenticeship Week is a week-long celebration that brings together businesses and apprentices across the country to shine a light on the positive impact that apprenticeships make to individuals, businesses and the wider economy. 

Take action: Join in the conversation online by using #NAW2026.  

Local apprenticeship events

To help you join in the celebrations and discover what's on locally, Enterprise Oxfordshire have put together a list of upcoming local apprenticeship events and open days. These include:

  • Festival of Apprenticeships Online Careers Fair (9th February)
  • Engineering Employer Open Evenings (9th - 12th February)
  • Bicester Careers and Apprenticeship Fair (12th February) 

Take action: Find more local apprenticeship events listed with here on oxme, by asking at your place of learning, or by checking local noticeboards.

Oxfordshire Apprenticeship Awards

Entries and nominations are still open for the Oxfordshire Apprenticeship Awards 2026! The awards recognise and celebrate the outstanding work that apprentices do. 

You can explore the categories and make nominations online by midnight on Monday 23rd February.
