Support is available to young people aged 16-18 in Oxfordshire explore their options and get sorted for September.
The game includes questions and activities that encourage conversations about feelings, friendships, getting help and self-esteem. It can be used at home, in school or with a trusted adult.
The board game was co-produced with a SEND Youth Forum member and designed to help children and young people talk about their mental health and wellbeing in a fun, safe and supportive way. SEND Youth Forum members then played the game during a forum meeting and shared their ideas and feedback.
The game is now being trialled across Oxfordshire's SEND Youth Forum satellite groups. Before the end of the summer term, it was also played at Windmill Primary School with one of our SEND Youth Forum Ambassadors, helping to introduce the game to younger children and gather further feedback from children and young people.
We are also developing additional board games with young people on a range of topics, including employment, staying safe online and understanding artificial intelligence (AI). These games will support conversations about important issues that matter to children and young people and help ensure their voices continue to shape future resources.
Now it's your chance to play the game and share your thoughts and feedback.
