Taking activities outdoors
As spring approaches, it offers fresh opportunity to get outside and swap indoor activities for time in the fresh air.
Spending time outdoors isn't just fun - it can also boost your mental wellbeing.
If you're looking for ways to enjoy the outdoors, why not try:
- Meeting friends outdoors, exploring your local area, or visiting a nearby park
- Trying a new hobby, such as outdoor sports or gardening
- Putting time aside for evening walk or cycle in your local community

Springtime volunteering
Springtime brings with it time for fresh routines and the chance to try something new. As the weather chances and the evenings become lighter more outdoor and community volunteering roles become available.
Not only is volunteering great for CV, it also supports your mental wellbeing and gives you the chance to experience work and develop new skills.
If you're looking for volunteering opportunities a great place to start is by asking at your local library or visiting the OCVA website.
Crucial: This time of year can be busy for students with exams so finding time to focus on study is important.
