There are lots of libraries in Oxfordshire and they are great places to access books, magazines, computers, and resources to support your studies.
Some local libraries also run fun activities and events that you can get involved with!

Some local libraries also run fun activities during the holidays, so it’s always worth popping in to your local library to check out upcoming events or activities!
Good to know: to access resources at the library you will need a library. You can sign up for a library card online, or by visiting your local library.

Your local library also offers lots of resources to support you with your studies or projects. Support available includes:
- Access to eBooks and eAudios (and eMagazines!)
- Access to online databases where you can find interesting facts and do research
- Computers and internet access
- Help and information from staff

Help out in your local library:
Volunteers are crucial in libraries, and there are opportunities for young people aged 14 and over to get involved.
Libraries are staffed by librarians, but lots of volunteers support them. Volunteers in libraries learn about books, get valuable experience to put on their CV, and have the satisfaction of helping others.
The sorts of opportunities that are available include:
