We would like to wish all the best to everyone collecting their GCSE results this week.

What's next?

So you've collected your results. What happens now?

All young people should be in learning until age 18. Whether your results are as planned, or come as a surprise, there is a place in learning for you - guaranteed.

Your options include:

Good to know: You can explore lots of local opportunities on oxme, including apprenticeships, courses, training providers and volunteering!

Support is available

If your results weren't as expected and plans have changed, there is lots of support available to help you explore your options.

You can: 

  • Talk to somebody at your place of learning 
  • Contact or drop-in to your local FE college to discuss your options
  • Get in touch with the National Careers Service

Good to know: If you are aged 16-18 in Oxfordshire, and not in employment, education or training (NEET), you can request support from the Oxfordshire Education, Employment and Training (EET) Service
